coronary arteryCTangiography

Non-Invasive Diagnostics

Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA)

A pioneer in promoting CCTA technology in Hong Kong — clearly visualises coronary artery stenosis without catheterisation, significantly reducing patient risk and discomfort. A breakthrough in early CAD diagnosis.

radial arterycoronary arterysurgery

Minimally Invasive Procedures

Transradial Coronary Intervention

A coronary intervention performed via the radial artery at the wrist, offering lower bleeding risk, faster recovery and same-day discharge. Dr. Kay is one of the pioneers of this technique in Hong Kong.

Drug-Coated Balloon (DCB)PCI

Advanced Interventional Therapy

Drug-Coated Balloon (DCB) PCI

Drug-Coated Balloon (DCB) technology eliminates the need for stent implantation, effectively preventing vessel re-narrowing. Ideal for small vessel disease and diabetic patients.

Greater Bay Area Contributions & Wan Zhi Medical Group

In 2010, Dr. Kay founded Wan Zhi Medical Group, opening the first HK-backed medical institution in Guangzhou's Tianhe District — Wan Zhi (Hong Kong) Internal Medicine Clinic — one of the first to introduce Hong Kong-style medical services in Guangzhou. In April 2019, a larger clinic was opened in Luohu District, Shenzhen — Wan Zhi Clinic, Shenzhen — one of the first HK-backed medical institutions in Shenzhen under the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Plan.

He commutes weekly between Hong Kong and Shenzhen to personally see patients, bringing Hong Kong-standard medical management and cardiology services to mainland patients. The clinic emphasises a "patient-first, person-centred" approach — not only treating disease but also prioritising overall quality of life. Dr. Kay has participated in the charitable organisation "Seagull Scholarship Team", travelling to remote areas of Guizhou, Inner Mongolia, Gansu and Xinjiang to provide educational support and medical aid, gaining a deep understanding of the country's needs and bringing Hong Kong's advanced medical experience to mainland China.
